MEGABREAD: Other Foods
We've come to the end of our MEGABREAD: Act 2 lineup.
It's been a great journey, but we're here today to announce the final few items being added to MEGABREAD. First off, let's start with Popped Nether Wart, or as our scientists have nicknamed it, "Popwart." It's made by cooking Nether Warts, and has pretty good hunger and saturation recovery. If you're worried about the taste, some have said it tastes kind of like chicken.
Secondly, apple juice, obtained by juicing an apple (big shocker there) into a glass bottle. It's a simple addition, but I'm sure you will find it to be a welcome one.
There are also three vegetables added in MEGABREAD: garlic, onions, and of course, corn. Garlic has about a 1/20 chance to drop from Creepers, while onions have the same chance of dropping from Endermen. We've found that the smells of these vegetables highlight the personalities of each mob and through some bribery have convinced them to carry the vegetables around with them all the time.
Corn, as it did in the original MEGABREAD, drops occasionally from Iron Golems (nobody remembers (or cares) what the probability of it dropping from them was). Except now it has another use, obtaining the fabled Corn Cube. None of us have quite yet figured out how exactly you use Corn to get the Corn Cube, or what the Corn Cube does exactly, so that's up to you to figure out.
Well, that's it for our announcements. We look forward to seeing you on April 20th, 2021 for the full release of MEGABREAD: Act 2 for Minecraft Java Edition 1.16+.
Actually, there's one more thing we'd like to show you... Come back this Saturday if you'd like to see it.
We're sure it will be an announcement you won't soon forget.
You can download the MEGABREAD datapack here, if you so desire.
